Planetfall is a short independent film which is the brainchild of members of Dundee Dramatic Society. It was financed via Kickstarter, the world’s largest funding platform for creative projects. Here’s what actor/writer/director Chris Harrison has to say:

“The Project is completely grass roots. It aims to engage with as many people in the community as possible to give them access to a creative process and empower them to take on roles within that process.

One of our most recent contributors, Mike Dailly, is a British videogame designer. He was one of the original employees of DMA Design (later Rockstar North). During his 10 years there he was the inspiration behind both the Lemmings and the Grand Theft Auto series.”

Mike had this to say about Planetfall:

“Backing groups like this is important. It helps not only the group themselves by giving them the chance to create a great piece of work, but the local creative industry and economy as well. For the sake of a few pounds, you can help budding creative types achieve their dreams – a worthy achievement for anyone.”
